is pleased to announce the purchase of two Σ (Sigma)
modular high speed SMT assembly systems from Hitachi
High Technologies America. The Σ (Sigma) series
is Hitachi’s High Technologies flagship mounter, designed
for high speed manufacturing with a rated speed of 135000
placements an hour while maintaining its focus on OEE
(Overall Equipment Efficiency) and offers industry leading
automated quick change-over functionality.

EMLinQ has also purchased a DEK Horizon 03iX screen
printer with Hawkeye inspection system and a 13 zone
Heller 1913MKIII to complete a full leading edge SMT
line.

EMLinQ
has further enhanced its ability to build high volume
products with the addition of the new line and will
be able to satisfy business requirements more effectively
which will allow us to provide more comprehensive support
to our customers and partners.
This
new line will be fully operational by November 1st 2011.
In 2008, EMLinQ purchased a MyDATA machine to handle
all prototype builds in a cost effective manner, providing
EMLinQ the ability to service customer requirements
in a more cost effective and timely manner as the product
is refined and tested for full scale manufacturing.

continues to be fully committed to expanding its manufacturing
services and resources in the United States, with additional
capital expenditure plans for 2012, further enhancing
the companies capabilities and overall services.

EMLinQ Acquires MYDATA
- MY15E Pick and Place Machine
EMLinQ is proud to announce
the acquisition of a MYDATA - My15E Extended Pick and
Place SMT machine for our surface mount solutions. The
My15E handles a greater variety of components, increased
throughput through quick changover, accuracy and extended
board handling capability. Flexible and easy-to-use
software suite. The 15E has high speed Hydra Extended
Range (ER) mounthead that can place components like
01005's and S018s. With its eight nozzle's, the Hydra
mounts at speeds of 21,000 CPH.

Obtains ITAR Registration
EMLinQ has announced the completion of registration
under the U.S. Department of State's International Traffic
in Arms Regulation (ITAR).
Administered by the Office of the Defense Trade Controls
Compliance (DDTC), under authority established by the
Arms Export Control Act (AECA), ITAR regulates the manufacture,
export, import and transfer of defense related articles
and services.
EMLinQ Employees Achieve
J-STD-001 Certification
EMLinQ employees have been trained to IPC's
J-STD-001. This course requires its students to exhibit
soldering skills at a more critical level than standard
industry practices. EMLinQ employees received certification,
valid for two years, after completing open and closed
book exams and demonstrating effective hand on application
of lessons. The certification shows that these individuals
have valuable knowledge and understanding of J-STD-001,
and it allows them to conduct in-house operator training

VTech and EMLinQ, LLC have signed a representation agreement.
VTech and EMLinQ LLC have
signed a representation agreement whereby both companies
will work together to promote the manufacturing services
both companies offer to their customer base as well
as to their prospective clients. The agreement acknowledges
that the two companies by working together strengthen
the services they have to offer.
VTech, based out of Hong
Kong, has large manufacturing facilities in China, able
to provide high volume quantities to their customers
at cost competitive pricing. VTech has established itself
as a high quality manufacturer able to offer a multitude
of services including design work, plastic injection/molding,
SMT and final assembly. Through EMLinQ, VTech will be
able to offer its customers prototyping, repair/refurbishment
and mid volume manufacturing requirements in the United
States. VTech also offers engineering and design services
and plastic injection manufacturing.
EMLinQ has a 55,000 square
foot facility based in Moorpark, California, providing
customers with quick turn, small to mid volume quantities
and high quality production. Through VTech, EMLinQ will

Certified IPC Trainer
The IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Trainer Training and Certification
Course is an extensive four (4) day paragraph-by-paragraph
review of the IPC-A-610C Standard. At the conclusion
of the Course, students will be subjected to open and
closed book written examinations. Students who successfully
complete this Course are awarded an IPC-A-610 Certified
IPC Trainer Certification valid for two (2) years and
are authorized to conduct the Certified IPC Specialist
Course.

Certification Course is an extensive three (3) day paragraph-by-paragraph
review of following modules of IPC-A-610C Standard.
Modules 1, 2, 4, 7, 8. At the conclusion of the Course,

examinations. Students who successfully complete this
Course are awarded an EMLinQ IPC-A-610 Certified IPC
Specialist Certification valid for two (2) years.

Local contract
manufacturer focused on prototyping and new product introductions…
EMLinQ began operations on
June 1, 2007, a newly formed company founded by four business
partners who were previously part of the management team
at a mid-sized EMS company that was subsequently sold.
EMLinQ is headquartered in Moorpark, Calif. with the goal
of manufacturing electronic product prototypes and facilitating
the new product introduction process for companies across
Southern California.
The company began operations
on June 1, 2007, and is already manufacturing printed
circuit board assemblies for eight customers. EMLinQ manufactures
using three high speed SMT machines. The assembly line
is set up for building both RoHS-compliant, and non-RoHS
compliant products.
At their 55,000 sq ft. manufacturing
facility, EMLinQ provides the following:

include BGA / uBGA placements of 256/600 ball devices
to 35 mil. Square. From
the plant in Moorpark, EMLinQ provides comprehensive manufacturing
services from board level to box level to COTS, offering
end-to-end turnkey assembly, test, burn in, and final
packaging. EMLinQ has ISO certification and builds up
to Class III standards.
EMLinQ performs in circuit
tests, utilizing our HP3070 Series II test platform, functional
tests at board level, production level test support, test
plan development, full systems test, burn-in chambers,
environmental stress screening.
