EMLinQ is headquartered in Moorpark, Calif. with the goal of manufacturing electronic product prototypes and facilitating the new product introduction process for companies across Southern California. The company began operations on June 1, 2007, and is already manufacturing printed circuit board assemblies for eight customers. EMLinQ manufactures using three high speed SMT machines. The assembly line is set up for building both RoHS-compliant, and non-RoHS compliant products. At their 55,000 sq ft. manufacturing facility, EMLinQ provides the following:
ICT, Functional
Testing, Programming From the plant in Moorpark, EMLinQ provides comprehensive manufacturing services from board level to box level to COTS, offering end-to-end turnkey assembly, test, burn in, and final packaging. EMLinQ has ISO certification and builds up to Class III standards. EMLinQ performs in circuit tests, utilizing our HP3070 Series II test platform, functional tests at board level, production level test support, test plan development, full systems test, burn-in chambers, environmental stress screening. Sandro Aquilina, CEO comments: "It became clear that this is a service that is badly needed by companies in Southern California, as most contract manufacturers have left the market to move their manufacturing offshore. This has left an underserved market of companies in need of quick-turn services, high mix low volume manufacturing, sustaining engineering services as well as products that require a short supply chain due to dynamic market changes."
